Return & Refund policy
Return & Refund Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This Return & Refund Policy applies to consumer purchases made from Tingora AB through www.tingora.com.
Tingora AB currently sells and ships to destinations made available at checkout within the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and the United Kingdom (UK).
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that you may have under applicable law.
1. Right of Withdrawal / Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you generally have the right to withdraw from or cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
For goods, the withdrawal period begins when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If your order contains several items that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period normally begins when you receive the final item from that order.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Tingora AB of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.
You may exercise your right of withdrawal using our Online Withdrawal Function, the statutory Model Withdrawal Form, or by sending us another clear statement informing us of your decision to withdraw.
When you use our Online Withdrawal Function, we will provide you with an electronic acknowledgement of receipt without undue delay.
2. How to Request a Return
Before returning an item, please contact us so that we can provide the correct return instructions.
Please include:
-
Your name
-
Your order number
-
The item or items you wish to return
-
A clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase or return the item
-
The reason for contacting us if the item is defective, damaged or incorrect
Contact us here:
https://tingora.com/en-eu/pages/contact-us
Returns must be sent to the return address provided by Tingora AB.
Return address:
Tingora AB – Returns
Magnusvägen 4A
177 31 Järfälla
Sweden
Please do not send a return to another address unless instructed by Tingora AB.
3. Condition of Returned Goods
You may inspect and try on clothing to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, fit and suitability, in a similar way to how you would examine an item in a physical store.
Returned goods should, where reasonably possible:
-
Be returned with their original tags and labels
-
Include any accessories or parts supplied with the product
-
Be returned in their original packaging where reasonably possible
-
Be kept clean and protected during the return shipment
The absence of original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory right of withdrawal.
However, you may be responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
For example, a deduction may be made where a garment has been worn beyond what is reasonably necessary for trying it on, or has been damaged, stained, washed, altered or otherwise handled in a way that reduces its resale value.
Any deduction will be based on the actual reduction in value and will be assessed reasonably and only where permitted by applicable law.
4. Return Shipping Costs
For returns made because you have changed your mind and are exercising your statutory right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that you were informed of this obligation before placing your order, unless Tingora AB has expressly agreed to cover the return cost or applicable law requires us to do so.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your shipping receipt or other proof that the goods have been returned.
If the return is due to an accepted complaint concerning a defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-conforming product, Tingora AB will cover reasonable return shipping costs where required by applicable law.
5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain products where an exception is permitted by applicable consumer law.
This may include:
-
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised
-
Goods that are supplied sealed and are genuinely unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken, where the legal requirements for this exception are met
-
Other goods for which an applicable statutory exception to the right of withdrawal applies
Where an item is subject to an exception from the statutory right of withdrawal, this will be clearly communicated where required before purchase.
A hygiene exception will not be applied merely because a product is clothing. It will only be applied where the requirements of applicable consumer law are satisfied.
These exceptions do not affect your statutory rights if a product is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
6. Refunds Following Withdrawal
When you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, Tingora AB will refund the payments that must be reimbursed under applicable law.
If you withdraw from your entire order, this generally includes:
-
The price paid for the returned goods
-
The cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order
If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as express delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery option.
For partial returns, original delivery charges will be refunded only to the extent required by applicable law.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree to another method.
You will not be charged a fee by Tingora AB for receiving a statutory refund.
EU/EEA customers
We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by applicable law.
UK customers
Refunds will be processed within the time limits required by applicable UK consumer law. For returned goods, this will generally be no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or receive appropriate evidence that they have been returned.
After Tingora AB has issued a refund, your bank, card provider or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
7. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If an item is damaged, defective, not as described, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to your order, please contact Tingora AB as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
There is no 7-day limitation on your statutory right to complain about a defective product.
Please provide:
-
Your order number
-
A description of the problem
-
Photographs or other documentation where reasonably possible and relevant
Photographs may help us assess the issue more quickly, but requesting photographs does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include:
-
Repair, where appropriate
-
Replacement
-
Price reduction
-
Full or partial refund
-
Cancellation of the purchase where legally applicable
Tingora AB will cover reasonable costs associated with returning defective or incorrectly supplied goods where required by applicable law.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper use, failure to follow reasonable care instructions or damage caused by the customer is not considered an original product defect.
8. Statutory Complaint and Conformity Rights
Your rights relating to defective products are separate from your right to withdraw from an online purchase.
Sweden
Consumers in Sweden have a statutory right to complain about original defects in goods for three years under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen).
A complaint should be made within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. A complaint made within two months after discovering the defect is considered to have been made within a reasonable time under Swedish law.
EU/EEA
Consumers within the EU/EEA benefit from statutory conformity and consumer protection rights under applicable EU, EEA and national consumer legislation.
EU rules provide a minimum two-year legal guarantee/conformity period for goods, although national legislation in individual countries may provide longer or additional rights.
United Kingdom
UK consumers have statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, incorrectly described or non-conforming goods under applicable UK consumer legislation.
UK consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods, subject to the conditions and exceptions of applicable UK consumer law. After this period, rights may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
Nothing in this Policy reduces any mandatory rights available to UK consumers.
9. Exchanges
We are not legally required to provide a direct exchange for an item that is not defective unless otherwise stated.
If you would like a different size, colour or product, please contact us.
Depending on availability and our current procedures, we may offer an exchange or ask you to return the original item and place a new order.
Your statutory withdrawal and complaint rights remain unaffected.
10. Unclaimed or Uncollected Packages
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for collecting packages delivered to the agreed collection point within the carrier's collection period.
An unclaimed or uncollected package that is returned to Tingora AB may result in reasonable costs for return shipping and handling.
Where permitted by applicable law and where the customer was informed of this condition before purchase, Tingora AB may deduct or charge reasonable costs directly associated with an unclaimed package.
Any such charge must be reasonable and must not exceed what is permitted under applicable consumer law.
The price paid for returned goods will be refunded where required by law.
If you wish to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, we recommend notifying Tingora AB clearly rather than simply leaving a package uncollected.
No fee for an unclaimed package will be charged where Tingora AB or the carrier has failed to deliver the order in accordance with the agreed delivery terms and the customer is not responsible for the failed delivery.
11. Proof of Purchase
We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Tingora AB.
This may include an order confirmation, order number, receipt or other reasonable evidence of purchase.
12. Governing Law and Mandatory Consumer Rights
Tingora AB is a Swedish company and this Policy is governed by Swedish law.
However, if you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under the law of your country of residence where such rights cannot legally be excluded.
If any provision in this Policy conflicts with mandatory consumer legislation applicable to a particular customer, the mandatory consumer legislation will prevail.
